Free chest binders (specially-designed chest compression garments) to any trans person who needs one and cannot afford or safely obtain one.

Free gender-affirming care in a welcoming, private, and supportive environment. LGBTQIA2S+ individuals can try on clothing that affirms their gender identity, without the discomfort or anxiety they might face in traditional retail settings. All items are available at no cost.

Physical location for LGBTQ+ folks to shop for gender-affirming and other community specific garments. With multiple brands and inclusive sizing, Underdare offers a comfortable, safe, nurturing, appointment only setting for people to touch, try on, and purchase affirming undergarments.


finding community

Free drop-in program at Family Tree Clinic for LGBTQ+ teens (ages 13-17) and young adults (ages 18-24) from 3:30–6:30pm on Mondays. Participants have a meal together, get free bus cards and have real conversations with in community. Some recent activities: yoga with Reviving Roots, metalsmithing, music therapy, black queer icons, art therapy.

Quatrefoil Library’s diverse and ever-developing collection of books, DVDs, zines, and periodicals, quiet study/reading areas, and programming—such as author readings, group meetings, and special events—provides community members with a multitude of options for connecting with their identities, histories, and each other within the broader queer ecosystem.

Weekly drop-in hours for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth ages 13-24. This is an inclusive third space where you can make Queer friends, participate in group activities, and access resources to affirm your identity. Come as you are and hang with us. Meals and snacks are provided.

Weekly drop-in group every Tuesday from 4:30-6:30pm for LGBTQ+ youth ages 12-21. Find community and be who you are. (Look under “therapeutic supports” on the website link for more info on this drop-in group.)

Monthly meetings where transgender, gender non-conforming, and questioning youth and their families come together to support each other in a welcoming and respectful space. Separate breakout groups for parents, kids, siblings, and teens.

When you can’t go home, when you feel shut out, when you just need a break, The Bridge for Youth is a safe and welcoming place that’s open and available whenever you need us—24/7/365.

Mental health support, medical care, pregnancy testing & prenatal care, STI & HIV testing, health education & help with health insurance for youth ages 11-24. All of Face to Face’s programs and staff are LGBTQ+ welcoming and affirming, so you don’t have to worry about being mistreated or judged.

Educational brochures & zines for the trans community on: primary care, insurance & pharmacy, binding & packing, tucking/breastforms & shapewear, hormones, MNsure, crisis resources and more. There’s also a comprehensive list of general resource links.

Created in collaboration with teen and young adult leaders who care about the sexual health of our community, this website helps sexually active teens and young adults find the help they need at a clinic that’s right for them. Individual, relationship and family therapy for queer and trans youth ages 12-25. They specialize in gender identity and sexual orientation exploration, and also treat other mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression and pervasive trauma.

intersex

Learn about growing up and differences of sex development (DSD) (also commonly called disorders of sex development or intersex variations). Our site was made by and for young people with DSD. We have teamed up with expert doctors from around the world to give you up to date information on DSD, puberty, growing up, and your life.

Everyone deserves bodily autonomy. That’s why interACT works to empower intersex youth and advance the rights of all people with innate variations in their physical sex characteristics through advocacy, public engagement and community connection.

Avenues programs provide safe shelter and housing options for youth, as well as holistic supports to meet a youth’s mental, physical, and life-long goals. For youth in Minnesota who are 16-24 years old, and their children, who are experiencing homelessness.

Homeless youth handbook for LGBTQ+ youth. Resources in the “Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ)” chapter include: shelters, addiction treatment, hiring rights, military service, medical treatment, foster care rights, sexual assault, bullying/emotional abuse and hate crimes, marriage and scholarships.

Drop-in day center for youth ages 14-24. Services include: basic needs, one-on-one support with a case manager, housing assistance, education & employment assistance, youth justice support, medical and mental health support.
